The Shum Yiu Foon Bik Chuen Memorial Centre for Cancer and Inflammation Research (CCIR) and Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine (GDHTCM) jointly held a symposium entitled “Prevention and treatment of cancer research in Chinese Medicine” at the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine on December 26, 2014. 

The symposium was organized by Prof. Aiping Lu (Dean of SCM and Director of CCIR), Prof. Ge Zhang (Deputy Director of CCIR) and Prof. Chuanjian Lu (Associate Dean of GDHTCM). At this symposium, a series of lectures were given by Prof. Zhang Ge, Prof. Zhiling Yu, Prof. Hongjie Zhang, Dr. William Tai and Prof. Chuanjian Lu’s research team members. After the meeting, an agreement was made to establish closer cooperation on clinical and basic science research in cancer disease between the CCIR at HKBU and the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine.
