The symposium was designed to bring together academic and industrial aptamer researchers and addressed therapeutic, diagnostic, analytical as well as basic research applications of aptamers.
Team members from CCIR including Dr. Li Defang, Dr. Li Fangfei, Dr. Yu Yuanyuan, Miss Lu Quanxia and Mr. Liang Chao attended the Aptamers 2016. Mr. Liang Chao won travel award and was invited to orally introduce his work entitled “Oligopeptide aptamer-modified chalcone derivative specifically targets Smurf1 in osteoblasts and promotes bone formation”. Dr. Li Fangfei made a poster presentation entitled “Tumor cell-targeted delivery of CRISPR/Cas9 by aptamer-functionalized lipid nanoparticles for therapeutic genome editing of miR-214 in osteosarcoma”. Dr. Yu Yuanyuan made a poster presentation entitled “Molecular selection, modification, and development of therapeutic oligonucleotide aptamers”.
