The Asia Oceania Association for the Study of Obesity had organized the 8th Asia-Oceania Conference on Obesity from 2-4 October 2015. Dr Kwan was awarded a Travel Grant and was invited to join the conference to present her work on how the subcutaneous adipocytes promote melanoma cell growth.
